GATE-GETTER INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNING
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pass one inch webbing strap around gate post and fence post below the level of the gate closure wire; being careful not to contact barbed or sharp wire or rough surfaces of posts.
2. Pass strap through ratchet slot and pull until tight; eliminating all slack.
3. Pump ratchet handle to tighten strap until gate post and fence post are close enough together to remove/open or replace/close the gate closure wire.
4. Once gate is secure, close ratchet handle down to lock.
5. Remove/open or replace/close the gate closure wire, i.e. open or close the gate.
6. To release strap, compress spring loaded release bar and open ratchet 180 degrees.
7. Pull strap out through the ratchet slot.
8. Snuggly wind strap around closed ratchet to store.
9. Store GATE-GETTER in pouch provided.
10. Pouch may be worn on the belt, carried by the handle or tied with your saddle strings.
11. Pouch handle may be tucked into pouch prior to replacing GATE-GATTER. WARNING Failure to comply with warnings may result in personal injury. Please read operating instructions carefully. 1. Do not exceed working load limit. Working load limit for this product is 500 lbs. or 227 kg. 2. Do not use for lifting, personal restraint or towing. 3. Please inspect webbing and hardware regularly for signs of wear. Discard product if webbing or hardware is damaged in any way. 4.
